For our Client- Ship Owner, operating fleet of 20 luxury river passenger ships cruising on Rhine, Main, Danube rivers, French rivers, with mainly guests from America, we are looking for Pastry Chef to join during season 2019.



  • Offered monthly salary is EUR 1750
  • Seasonal Swiss contract– until middle / end of November 2019
  • Swiss social benefits
  • 6 days holiday per month
  • 4-6 weeks paid vacation during the contract
  • Tips up to EUR 650 /month (when guests are on board)
  • Travel expenses are paid up to 500 EUR / Season
  • Double cabin

Essential Functions


 Responsible for the pantry and delivery of all pastry offering on board

o You report to the hotel manager of the ship and to the corporate chef

o You follow and supervise company standards and culinary guidelines

o Cooperation with other departments

o Willing to carry out kitchen cleaning duties


River Ship Pastry Chef Job Requirements


o Min. of 3 years’ experience in galley operation

o Have an apprentice as a Pastry chef, confectioner or specific culinary school background

o Experience in 4 or 5* operations (Hotel and/or cruise ships)

o Good English knowledge

o Knowledge of HACCP
