We are in need of a good and experienced Deck Boatswain onboard small Luxury Cruise ship.

Offer:

Position: Boatswain

Ship Type: Small Luxury Cruise ship

Basic Guaranteed Salary: 3 000 USD + Overtime

Contract Duration: 5+-1 months on

Travel costs: covered by the company

Starting Date: ASAP after approval in interview

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the ship’s hull including rigging, anchors, cables, sails, deck maintenance, small boat operations
• Supervise the deck crew
• Ensure that the standards of the procedures used by the crew are up to quality
• Oversee maintenance of the deck and above-deck areas
• Perform daily inspections of ship areas

Requirements:

• fluency in English
• min 3 years of experience on board cruise ships
• valid Maritime documents and passports
• valid STCW certificates
• valid COC
• reference letters from previous employers
