Hotel Manager
High School diploma and College degree preferred, front desk and hotel supervisory experience required, service oriented with excellent communication skills, available for full time employment with a flexible schedule, stable, verifiable work history, genereal computer experience: Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows, experience with hotel/reservation management system. Autoclerk would be best. Required to manage front desk, sales, housekeeping, maintenance and audit.
- Schedule staff.
- Fill in for front desk duties as needed.
- Train, coach and develop employees.
- Serve as a role model.
- Make deposits.
Chief Purser
On smaller ships the incumbent supervises all other departments on board with the exception of deck and engine, implementation of various shipboard services and systems including budget management, schedules, inspections, training, communications, and insures that all departments maintain high standards. On large ships the chief purser is separate from the hotel manager. The position supervises all aspects of accounting, auditing, revenue and money transactions. Usually manages the purser staff. Reports directly to the Hotel Manager (if applicable). Required: extensive previous hotel experience of no less than five years as hotel manager, a degree in hotel and restaurant management, and/or prior cruise ship experience. Managerial experience. . Education in finances and / or accounting would be an advantage. Fluent English Language skills required.
Deputy Purser
Supervises all other departments on board with the exception of deck and engine departments. Extensive hotel experience of no less than five years as a hotel manager, a degree in hotel management and /or prior cruise ship experience required. Education in finances and / or accounting would be an advantage. Fluent English Language skills required.
Purser
Supervising day to day operations of the pursers office / front desk as directed by the Chief Purser. Previous hotel experience required, a degree in hotel management and /or prior cruise ship experience is required. A degree in finances and / or accounting would be an advantage. Fluent English Language skills required.
Assistant Purser
Reception desk-general information, accommodation problems, complaints, money transactions, shipboard announcements etc. Previous hotel experience and /or university degree required. A degree in finances and / or accounting would be an advantage. Fluent English Language skills required and speaking other languages (German, French or Spanish) is a plus.
Junior Assistant Purser or hotel receptionist.
Previous hotel experience and /or university degree is required. A degree in finances and / or accounting would be an advantage. Fluent English Language skills required and speaking other languages (German, French or Spanish) is a plus.
Crew Purser
Handles the administration of the crew; sign-on and sign-off of all crew; cabin assignments for officers, staff and crew; issues cabin keys; sign-off; crew identification cards; life jackets; issues master's rules & regulations; coordinates supplies of uniforms; crew check 30 minutes prior to departure from any port; liaison officer for officers, staff and crew; keeps inventory of crew supplies; et. Represent the all the company's policies and procedures to crew members. Reports directly to the Hotel Manager. Requirements: Previous hotel experience preferable, a degree in hotel and restaurant management and/or university degree is also preferable. Accounting background helpful. A degree in finances and / or accounting would be an advantage. Fluent English Language skills required.
Shore Excursions Manager
Responsible for the presentation, promotion, supervision and arrangement of the shore excursions offered in the various ports of call. Experience in tourism, previous travel-related experience and/or minimum 1 year in the relevant field on board ships required. Fluent English Language skills required.
Assistant Shore Excursions Manager
Responsible for the promotion, selling and arrangements of the shore excursions offered in the various ports of call as directed by the Shore Excursion Manager. Experience in tourism, previous travel-related experience and/or minimum 1 year on board starting from an entry-level Cruise Staff position required. Fluent English Language skills required.
Receptionist
Check-in passengers , checkout, settle accounts at end of cruise, handle complaints, lost luggage, room changes, check cashing, currency exchange, etc. Required 4 years experience in Hotel - Practical and Administrations. Customer service experience, especially as a hotel receptionist or bank teller, is most helpful in landing this job.
