We are in selection of very experienced Executive Chef for Luxury River 5+ star ships for the summer season 2017!

Offer:

Position: Executive Chef

Basic Guaranteed Salary: 3 000 EUR + Guarantee weekly TIPS + % from all incomes in the Department + Social & Medical Insurance

Duration of Contract: April 2017 - December 2017 + 5 Holidays per month/Paid vacation

Travel costs: covered from the Company

Starting Date: end of May 2017

 

Responsibilities & Condition:

• Review food and beverage purchases
• Develop and standardize recipes
• Maintain safety and sanitation in the kitchen, maintain equipment, design food presentation aesthetics
• Plan and prepare special menu items
• Supervise all kitchen workers
• Help preparing meals in the kitchen and delegate work to other chefs and cooks during the restaurant's busy times

Requirements:

• very good English
• min 2 reference letters from previous employers
• previous experience on the position in Fine Dining restaurants, Gourmet cousin or Luxury cruise ship or Mega Yachts

The ideal candidate need to have good customer service skills, be able to lead and manage a diverse group of people. He should also be creative and has a keen sense of smell and taste. The chef should have good personal hygiene since he must work in sanitary conditions.
